Jeff Tarver

Jeff Tarver is an active performer of contemporary, musical theater, and classical styles. He has performed in over 30 U.S. cities and prominently featured as a jazz and pop vocalist as a guest performer with Cirque Dreams in Nashville, TN.

In 2018, Tarver was selected to perform an American Premiere of the South Korean work The Fisherman’s Song (뱃노래) accompanied by choir and orchestra. In 2017, Tarver performed the lead role of Tony in West Side Story in Nashville, TN.

In 2014, Jeff was granted the opportunity to study at the Juilliard School through private instruction. He later studied at the prestigious Oberlin Conservatory of Music with performance emphasis in voice and piano, ultimately completing his Bachelor of Music degree at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, with courses in pedagogy and cross-stylistic training in performance.

During his time at Belmont, Jeff performed throughout the greater-Nashville area with various regional companies. He traveled to Boulder, CO, to compete as a national finalist for the National Association of Teachers of Singing.

Jeff has since continued his career in performing and working with aspiring professional artists in cross-stylistic training and working to map out a path for clients in the entertainment industry. Tarver has studied voice and piano with a strong emphasis on understanding stylistic tools and genre diversity for each voice type and level.

Jeff’s greatest passion is the artist’s responsibility to encompass the “entire message,” conveying the spirit of each song. Student successes have been on The Voice, American Idol, and Conservatories for Voice and Piano globally. In addition to being our school owner, Jeff Tarver instructs, on a select basis – virtual singing lessons and virtual piano lessons.
